With an objective of developing Sri Amaraavathi College of Arts and Science into a student driven institution, the management has established Amaraavathi Student Leadership Council. The SLC members take every step to make the college life, a memorable and enriching experience for the students.
A group of students interested in providing input on institution decisions, building our campus culture by organizing events, and helping our community through service.
Purpose
The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out college activities. To serve as the effective communication medium between the administration and students. Even though there is a fair chance to every student to communicate at any time with the administrative officials, Student Leadership Council acts as the interactive body facilitating primary level of communication. Student Council also assists in planning and development of various cultural, sports, social, recreational and other educational interests of students in the institution.
Roles and Responsibilities
Department Secretary
The Department Secretary shares the information about the Department Association events. They work with Coordinators respectively, in the planning and organizing the department academic events.
Sports Secretary and Cultural Secretary
The Sports and Cultural Secretary share the information about the sporting events and cultural events of the institution to the students. They work with Sports and Cultural Coordinators respectively, in the planning and organizing the sports and cultural events of the institution.
Student Council Meetings
The Student Council shall meet once in a Week to plan the upcoming week activates
